On a quest to find the world’s northernmost printing press, Beatrice sailed around the Svalbard archipelago high in the Arctic Circle. Having met polar bears and found fossils she travelled to the Antarctic Peninsula in search of the world’s southernmost printing press.
On Deception Island Beatrice joined a team investigating microbial food webs. Working closely with scientists has given her a unique view of the natural world and shaped the process of creating prints made at either end of the Earth.
